Jacobite Railway

Described as one of the greatest rail journeys in the world.  The train takes you past some of the most beautiful and breathtaking scenery in Scotland.

 

The arched Flenfinnan Viaduct is known the world over for its remarkable engineering and was used for its dramatic setting as the Hogwarts Express carried Harry Potter off to school.

 

Ben Nevis Distillery

Founded in 1825 by John McDonald the Ben Nevis Distillery's unique selling point is the water from the mountain,  where it is used in the whisky making process.  This pure water gives the whisky a unique character and the barley itself is transported all the way from Eastern Scotland.

You can discover the secret of whisky distilling.  Encounter the mythical Giant Hector McDram who will reveal the Legend of the Dew of Ben Nevis in a specially commissioned audio visual presentation.  Then it's time to enjoy a guided tour of the production areas and finshing with a complimentary tasting.

 

 

The Nevis Range Mountain Experience

The mountain gondola system, the only one of its kind in Britain offers a truly unique experience.

Enjoy the scenic ride absorbing the spectacular views and clear mountain air.  The gondolas transport visitors effortlessly from 300ft up to 1,250ft on the north face of Aonach Mor, the eighth highest mountain in Britain. 

The journey takes approximately 15 minutes each way.

With a truly fascinating and informative skipper's commentary, you'll experienc some of Scotland's best wildlife including porpoise, common and grey seals and maybe even a golden eagle while enjoying breathtaking scenery of Lochaber.
